Match 3 of the KSFA doubles league today was held today under blazing sunshine right by the promenade of beautiful Senglea.

At 0600 the anglers in conjunction cast their lines in earnest of the fish.

It was more or less a quiet affair especially when compared to the previous match.

Most anglers opted for float fishing today, given that the venue today was ideal for this type of fishing, although other techniques were also fished.

Most fish caught were the usual wrasse and a sprinkle of saddle bream, but we also saw a couple of Mullets at last, these having been absent from the previous 2 matches.
Today it was Jamie and Jonathan Bonnici's turn, landing a credible 1.71kgs mostly wrasse and some saddle bream fishing right by a slipway using mostly a paternoster rig.

Second place went to Jason Saiba and Joseph Ellul who both fished the float catching a variety of fish.

In third place we find Adrian Nelson and Robert Bugeja who never gave up and in fact caught quit a few fish during the last 20mins which helped them in no small way to win 3rd place.

Section winners were James Gilson and Jonathan Aquilina and Darren Stafrace and Andre Borg.

Next match will be on the 6th July.
