KFSA season to kick start with Doubles League
This year the league shall begin with the much anticipated doubles league.
The first match will be on the 20th January at Birgu Toqba where we shall meet at 0600hrs and fish from 0700 till 1100hrs.
A members meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 16th January at Pieta, starting at 1900hrs sharp, were registrations for this league shall be taken; the fee shall be that of 20euros.
Please be reminded of the decision taken at the AGM that no ckal is allowed as bait and fishing for cawl is not permitted either.
All the venues and Chief marshals are:
Match 1: Toqba Birgu: Salvu Borg & Kevin Cassar
Match 2: Isla: Steve Johnston & James Gilson
Match 3: Bighi: Joe Schembri & John Attard
Match 4: Sliema: Roberto Bugeja & Adrian Nelson
Marshalls match: San Maison/Pieta with Chief marshal Alex Genovese.
Since everyone will have the opportunity to fish the marshals match, it was decided to fish a different venue, rather than a draw by lot from those already fished.
Alternate to all venues will be Gzira, and venues may be subject to change as we will always try to get venues such as waterfront etc etc. But no promises we can only try.
