Miguel Grech & John Attard off to a winning start.

Today the 15th of January 2017 saw the start of the much awaited KSFA doubles league. 

The match was fished in our beautiful Capital City Valletta. 

The morning dawned cold and wet with persistent rain pelting down on our gallant anglers who although drenched and cold gave it their all. 

The most common fish caught was the Rainbow Wrasses (gharajjes), with a sprinkle of Saddle Bream (Sparli) and various other bottom fish.

The team winner of the day was a healthy mixture of experience and energetic youth, where John Attard and Miguel Grech teamed up and managed to just about clinch 1st Place with 1.58Kgs, very closely followed by Luke Bullit and Maverick Muliett with 1.55kgs. 

In 3rd place we had Andre Borg and Joseph Ellul (il-Gower) with 1.13kgs.

Section winners were Jonathan Vella with David Collins and Brian Farrugia with Jonathan Bonnici. 

Winners were presented with Trophies and Vouchers. All fish were released after weigh in.
