Clayton Camilleri crowned Mullet Champion 2017!
This morning the 3rd of December the sun rose to a crisp cold morning, and only the anticipation of a good final mullet match, helped to keep KSFA’s mullet anglers warm.
The league was still wide open so today’s match was really a gran finale. This was held at the Manoel Island Yacht Yard, with the kind permission of the management whom we thank profusely. The horn blew at 7am, and it was immediately evident that there were some nice mullets to be had, in fact the biggest mullet of the league was landed on the day.
The glory on the day went to Saviour Borg with 1.120kgs, he was followed by not one but 2 in second place, these being, Mario Marlow and Stefan Borg with .950kgs, and in 3rd place we had Sandro Cohen on .930kgs.
But the league honours go to Clayton Camilleri, who is the winner of this years Mullet league. He is followed in 2nd place by Charles Caruana and in the 3rd spot we have Mario Marlow. Biggest Mullet John Attard .650kgs.
